IP Intern Program
Inventa Capital’s Intellectual Property Law Intern Program is ideal for those interested and having passion in patent law. A typical candidate for the Intern Program must have an engineering or equivalent technical degree and interested to either becoming a patent agent or attend a law school to become a patent attorney. Some candidates begin as interns directly after graduating with a technical degree and before beginning law school. Our program differs from other law clerk programs. As IP Intern, you will delve into an exciting world of a patent prosecution, by going through all staged of it beginning from conduction meeting with inventor(s) to understand invention(s), conduct a prior art search to identify patentable novelty, as well as to prepare and obtain patents through prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The working hours are very flexible and can be worked around any school schedule.
